Every FastTrack report follows the same structure — written by an editor, specific to the piece, and focused on what the writer needs to do next.

What a report contains

A direct read of what is working in the piece and what is holding it back — structural, tonal, and at the level of the writing itself.

The top 3–5 changes that would have the most impact, ranked by significance. Not an exhaustive list — a clear, actionable one.

Line-level targets
Specific areas where voice, clarity, or pace can be tightened, with reference to the text.

Next steps
Practical guidance for the next revision pass, including whether the piece is close to submission-ready or needs more substantial work.

Recommendation
A clear editorial position: submit now, revise and resubmit, or consider a different direction.
